Last time I ran inTargu Mures was over 15 years ago, a long course of on the Plateau Cornesti and I was very curious how it will be this time in the new area. Unfortunately we did not go on Friday and I missed the first stage of the competition. In a time like spring, warm and sunny, I went to start in the second stage. I received a late minute (by 70 minutes) and after a long waiting, I ventured to the first control. Direction was not exactly how I wanted it to be and for item 2 I planned to run with more attention. It did not come out as expected and I got about 30 meters lower than the control. On 3rd and 4th control were small hesitations, then the rest of the control went smoothly. The hill was hard to climb between control 11 and 12 but I managed Below are routes.

Also on Saturday, price giving ceremony was held for the first two stages as part of the  National Veterans Championships and I congratulate them for competing. At their age I hope to be able to go through, like them, enjoying this sport as they have done it these days.

Stage 2 was a city stage and I went perfect. On a much more beautiful day than the day before, and I have not done any mistake.
