Cupa Bihorului 15.05.2011 – 1 Mai Oradea

Bihor Cup 15.05.2011 – 1 Mai Bihor

Bihor Cup was held Sunday and the fact that I never ran into a forest in this area was the main reason for me to participate in this competition. The competition was excellent, both in terms of the route, map and time. I started in force, considering that two weeks I was constantly accompanied by cough day and night if which I didn’t manage to escape, I couldn’t wait to run and after this break. Everything went ok the first seven positions, with small insignificant mistakes, but  on the section between 7 and 8, cough made me slow (read ‘stop’) my running. I have significantly reduced the speed even to walking to avoid another coughing. Although I not ended my journey as I wished, the route was gorgeous and the only regret is related to the fact that we failed to effectively treat cough in order to fully enjoy all the competition: (

I still hope that in the next two weeks left until National Championship Team I will heal, otherwise my participation is not for sure …

Score 14.04.2011 - Borcut Maramures

Score 14.04.2011 – Valea Borcutului

Thursday, 04.14  Score Cup took place. After a busy day at work, running has been welcomed, especially as in the weekend was going to take place Long Distance National Championship and Score competitions have always been among my favorites. However, judging now, I did not choose the best strategy to collect as many points as possible in the 60 minutes I had available, and which I also passed over. But what route would you choose?

Cupa Postas 09-10.04.2011 – Pilisszentlélek (Ungaria)

Postas Cup 09-10.04.2011 – Pilisszentlélek (Hungary)

Although it passed long time from the competition, I can remember the effort I put on the two routes. Perhaps that if would have existed the 21A category, I would not be enrolled in 21E, but its absence and the small length from the 21B (less than 5km), led me to subscribe to this category in order to take full advantage of the forest and the trails.
I didn’t get tired by the length, but the fallen branches that made running difficult.
Beautiful forest (it was a reservation after all: P) and interesting routes which challenged me both physically and technical, have contributed greatly to the success of competition from my point of view.
Below are the maps of the two days of competition.
